Black Friday 2026 falls on Friday, November 27, and Cyber Monday is November 30. We have not tracked sewing machine prices across a past Black Friday, so this page does not promise a discount or quote a price. It does something more useful: it shows how to check a deal in under five minutes, which machines are worth waiting on, and why a bundle with "200+ accessories" can cost more than the machine alone.
What this page is based on
On October 29, 2026 we pulled Amazon's US listings for the Brother, SINGER and bundle machines below and compared the plain listings with the third-party combo listings of the same models. Machine specs come from those listings. Black Friday and Cyber Monday dates come from the usual rule: the day after US Thanksgiving, then the following Monday. No price appears on this page. Live prices are shown by the buttons.
This is a spec review. We compared listings and specs; we did not sew on these machines. How we research.
The five-minute deal check
- Match the model number exactly. The Brother XM2701 and the LX3817 look nearly alike; our XM2701 vs LX3817 page shows how they differ. Search the listing for the number printed on the machine, not a nickname.
- Find the plain machine's listing and see what it costs today. A bundle is only a deal if it beats the plain machine plus what you'd actually buy.
- Check who sells it and who ships it. Brother's lifetime support and warranty terms are written on Brother's own listings; third-party bundles may not carry them.
- Check the model's age. Older models get marked down because newer ones replaced them. The HC1850 listing, for instance, shows a 2015 manufacture year.
- Read the return window. A holiday gift bought in November can sit past it.
That is the whole method. The sections below show it applied.
How bundles can cost more than the machine
This is the pattern we found on October 29. Amazon search results for "Brother sewing machine" return the plain SE700 and several third-party "combo" listings of the same model. Those bundles add thread, design cards, scissors and clips, and the combo listings we looked at, such as this SE700 bundle, were priced above the plain listing that day. The SE2000 showed the same pattern: the plain SE2000 was cheaper than the combo listings of it.
The SINGER 4452 is a different case. The 4452 Holiday Bundle adds an extension table, a blind hem foot and an open toe foot to the machine. The plain 4452 listing says it includes a walking foot, a nonstick foot and a quilting guide. Check whether the bundle listing also names the walking foot before you assume it does. Neither is a bargain in the abstract. Which is better depends on whether you want the table or the walking foot, and that is the question to answer before you look at either price.
Which machines to watch
Our watch list is the best sellers, because they have thousands of ratings and will usually be easy to price-compare.
| Machine | Who it's for | Why it's on the list |
|---|---|---|
| Brother XM2701 | First machine, repairs | Amazon's #1 in sewing machines; 19,000+ ratings |
| Brother CS7000X | Quilters | Wide table, 10 feet and a hard case included |
| SINGER 4423 | Heavier fabric | 1,100 stitches per minute and adjustable presser foot pressure on the listing |
| Brother SE700 | Sewing plus embroidery | #1 in embroidery machines; compare against combo listings |
Pick by use, not by discount. Our Brother buying guide shows which model fits which sewer, best cheap sewing machine covers the low end, and best sewing machine for beginners puts the brands side by side. For thick fabric, the heavy-duty guide explains the 4423.
What to buy instead of a machine
If the machine you want isn't discounted, spend on the things you'll reuse. Universal needles in assorted sizes, like these 20-count assorted needles, are the cheapest upgrade to stitch quality. A walking foot, such as the SINGER even feed foot, helps with layered quilts and slippery fabric, but the listing says it fits SINGER CA, CB, EA, MA and MB series machines, so confirm your series before buying. Brother owners should start from our walking foot guide for Brother.
If it's a gift

Buy the exact model the person wants, check the return window, and keep the box until they have sewn a seam. For smaller gifts that avoid the guesswork, see gifts for sewers and quilters and the Christmas gift guide.
The short version
Decide which machine you'd buy at full price, check that exact model number, compare any bundle against the plain machine, and read the return window. Skip any deal that makes you shop for a different machine.
